Vermilion Wine is a full-length murder mystery play (performed in English) in the tradition of The Maltese Falcon set in 1948 New York. Private eye Ian Sinclair was once in love with Rebecca, a woman with multiple personality disorder who ended up sticking a knife in his ribs. Now Rebecca has escaped the asylum and Sinclair, hired by the enigmatic millionairess Maureen Monroe to find her missing husband, must confront madness, betrayal and murder in a world where nothing and no one are who they appear to be.
